The Riders are having a great 2011 with their first requests from radio for their music. MSR has been blown away with our first four songs added by multiple formats of radio stations including Rock, Classic Rock, Americana, Country, Alternative Rock, Bluegrass, Alternative Country, AOR, Southern Rock, Hot Country, Blues and Adult Contemporary with more coming in daily.
This confirms our feeling that something’s been missing from radio for years. Music that’s written from real stories about the passion of pursuing personal freedoms with an edge of rebellion, realism, and a sense of adventure that seems to be missing from the music scene for a while.

Some of our new fans at radio include interest from the Houston Texas Rock Station “The Buzz 94.5”, and rotation at the following stations from across the US and England, The Eagle 97,,, ,,, ,,,,,, , , Three Alarm Radio, B109 the Rock Station, Chief Jack Radio California, SkyDogs Red Dirt Radio Texas , Planet Voodoo Radio, Constant Country KRS , and BRCFP broadcast from England.

The True Duel Meaning to our Song ” Ive Had a Good Ride”

Posted in Rallys, Uncategorized with tags , , , , on July 21, 2010 by The MeanStreet Riders

In response to many people who have enjoyed the lyrics of “Ive Had Good Ride and requested more information about the song and in celebration of women riders and return to the Sturgis Rally , and the South Dakota hills we introduce our song “I’ve Had a Good Ride” from our BandPage and MyStore tabs.
In addition to the grateful reunion with old friends theme the song also references real life teachings and how not to believe everything you hear or read in the media with the line “ don’t read all the writing on the wall”. It also invites you to take life “all in” and enjoy the good times but also take an inner look at the end of the day or your life and ask yourself have you “Had a Good Ride”? In keeping with the Sturgis theme and a tribute to women riders we also wanted to show off David Uhl’s most recent Sturgis themed painting “70 years and Counting”. The painting features incredible detail from Devils Tower right down to the 1938 Jackpine Races map in our lady contestants hand. Here’s to all the lady riders everywhere and hoping you always “Have a Good Ride” through life.
The first four MeanStreet Riders songs are available across the world at all I Tunes and Amazon Stores
